This site is designed for people who have already read a book by a classical author. It is mainly aimed at an advanced disambiguation between the types. If you never read any author, my main recommendations are:
- Eli Jaxon Bear
- Helen Palmer
- Eclectic Energies: a simple but great introduction
The Enneagram is difficult to understand and to see in real people (including ourselves). After a few years, I could reconcile some of Ichazo’s descriptions to the more popular version. They seem to differ but I slowly realized they describe the same types. Ichazo’s short takes do not fully contradict the later authors but for some types, they can bend understanding in a different direction.
